Leap Year!

As many of you know, Al Cook, the coordinator of the Down East Tattoo Show has been in the hospital more than four and a half months. He had part of his foot amputated, making for a gap in his efforts to get the show ready. He was also in a rehab facility learning to walk again for a couple of months. With all of this going on he could not put the time into forming the show that he has put on for all of us like in the past. He does NOT want to go back to the Morgan Hill Event center and would like to keep it closer to hotels as it was in the past years making it convenient for the people that have traveled from far away to get to stores and after the show restaurants. With April so close he can not put this together and have it run right for everyone. Since it is leap year, it would be better to take a year off so he can heal and be ready for the next years show in 2013. He is sorry and thanks you for understanding about this year. Keep on getting ink to enter in the next year's show. Al has ideas to make it a better show for all of us. Please hang in there for 2013 to welcome the man (Al Cook) that brought this Down East Tattoo Show to this part of Maine for everyone to enjoy! We will post updates on this web site to let people know whats going on. Thank you!
